Two assessment procedures will be created, for use in the trials.

1. Assessment of skills of participants in trials:

• Pre-learning
• Post-learning
• Transfer of skill to the workplace
• Evidence of the effectiveness of skills in use in the workplace
• Testing of skills will be by observation of actual performance, not by theoretical study, attendance or time spent learning.

2. Evaluation of the quality of the training itself

• Adherence to the QAF standards (see above)
• Organisational factors - planning, delivery, accessibility
• Feedback from learners
• Feedback from Learners' organisations or employers
• Future use of the training and curriculum

Results of these will provide the basis for completing the course design to both content, teaching method, and delivery, providing essential information to be built in to the ICT learning platform, and into face to face and workplace elements of learning.

In Learning Activity C1 (below) VRC will train partners in great detail in the delivery of the curriculum, the application of the QAF and the assessment procedures.
