O8_Accredited EUPA_Next ASSESMENT Level 2,3,4 and 5

Type: LLP-ERASMUS
Parent: Intellectual Outputs

Period:
8 Jun 2017 - 27 Aug 2018

During the EUPA project an assessment tool was developed for the level 2 qualification framework. However, this assessment was not certified by a certification body. The objective of EUPA_NEXT is to develop a formal certification for administration personnel in all four levels (level 2,3 4 and 5) using ISO 17024 that is a relatively new standard that certifies personal competences.  The assessment will promote the identification of qualifications (knowledge, skills and competences) independently on the way they have been acquired.

The structure of the assessment will be in accordance to the certification scheme for assessment (O4). Although the structure of the assessment has not yet been finalised it is expected to consist of specially developed exercises, declarative statements, interview questions, simulations, role plays etc to assess the knowledge, skills and competences of the administration personnel.

Ideally the assessment should assess learners in all learning outcomes of a level but as the number of learning outcomes per level is quite big, doing that may lead to a very time consuming assessment. In this case  the solution may be to develop a pool of assessment questions and to select randomly the questions to be used for the assessment of each learner (keeping a minimum number on each of the types of assessment questions).

The assessment is expected to combine several types of tools such as:multiple choice, role plays, simulations, small essays, open ended questions etc.
