O6_Certified EUPA _NEXT training curricula EQF Levels 2, 3,4 and 5

Type: LLP-ERASMUS
Parent: Intellectual Outputs

Period:
9 Jun 2016 - 26 Jun 2018

The training curricula developed will have the following format:

  • The training curricula will be modular and one training curriculum will be developed for each unit. In EUPA project the qualification framework was structured in work areas (defined as a set of units) and units (defined as a set of learning outcomes).  For example one work area is Office Procedures with two units namely "Handle the Mail" and "Handle the Stock"
  • However all training curricula will appear in one  brochure per level (electronic and printed)
  • For each training curriculum the following will be presented:
    • The learning outcomes for each unit
    • The suggested duration of the unit
    • The Pre-requisites for participants
    • The outline (topics) for the unit
    • The suggested methodology to be used ( eg Lecture, Group discussion etc)
    • The types of methodological tools to be used (eg Case study, Simulation)
  • The actual methodological tools that have been designed for this unit with a short description of the methodological tool

Here is an example of a methodological tool and its description:

EUPA_LO_007_M_009 : MOOZ

Coloured cards are given randomly to the participants. They can not show their cards to each other but they can describe the cards. Through the description the participants must put the cards in order and form a story. Active listening is very important in doing so.

(it is noted that methodological tools are being developed in parallel with the training materials. Additionally there is an explicit description of the methodological tools to be used in the curricula. That is why the finalisation of the training curricula is also the same with the finalisation of the training materials)

In terms of pages, through our previous experience it is expected that the training curricula for each level will be 75-100 pages.

As noted in the first EUPA project although the qualification framework was developed for levels 2,3,4 and 5 the training curricula were developed for level 2 only (which were only available in English, Greek and Slovak). Through EUPA_NEXT training curricula will be developed for the rest of the levels. Additionally all curricula will be accredited through ISO (including level 2 curriculum).
