YEAP: 1st transnational meeting of ‘YEAP! Youth Entrepreneurship Advanced Pathway’ project, Thessaloniki, Greece

Project: YEAP! - Youth Entrepreneurship Advanced Pathway

The YEAP project! Youth Entrepreneurship Advanced Pathway officially launched on 1 June 2018 and will end on 31 May 2020. This two-year project has as main objective the integration of young people into the labor market as well as to foster education and training procedures so that young people can create their own business and develop their business skills.

The first transnational meeting of the YEAP Project! took place in Thessaloniki, Greece, on 18 and 19 July 2018. This two-day meeting was hosted at DIMITRA's premises in Thessaloniki. The transnational meeting was attended by representatives of all partners participating in the program.

The meeting started with a brief presentation of the representatives and the role of their organizations in the project. An overall presentation of the project’s concept, objectives and Intellectual Outputs’ content was then carried out. The concept, work plan, roles and responsibilities in the development of O1: "YEAP! Flexible Learning Pathway Level 4" was updated. Subsequently, the project partners presented the Intellectual Outputs in which they lead. Comments and feedback were offered by the partners wherever was necessary.

During second day, good practices related to youth entrepreneurship were presented. The strategy for the dissemination and exploitation of the project results was established and the work was allocated accordingly. Issues related to financial and administrative management of the project and the assurance of its quality were analyzed. Finally, the next steps were planned and the meeting ended with the evaluation and the granting of the monitoring certificates.
