The 3rd partners’ meeting of the promising ‘’Mingle: ‘Generating Social and Human Capital for Third Country Nationals’’ (AMIF-2016-AG-INTE-01) took place in Nicosia, Cyprus, on 17/1/2019, in a fruitful atmosphere between 10 partners from 5 different countries. MMC from Cyprus, Santurban and Documenta from Spain, Integrationslyftet and Folkuniversitetet from Sweden, Dimitra and Larissa Municipality form Greece, GFBM and MetropolisNet from Germany under the coordination of Nicosia Municipality Multifunctional Foundation. The discussion included the general project progress review, the requirements of the interim report, project management and issues related to workpackages 2 (dissemination of the project to locals and TCNs) and 3 (language and intercultural skills training for TCNs). Partners had also a quick glance into workpackages 4 (Mingling Experiences), 5 and 6 (assessment tools for assessing TCNs social integration and the online platform where all the Mingle tools will be uploaded. Partners also discussed financial, dissemination and quality assurance issues. On the occasion of the meeting, the partners met the Mayor of Nicosia, Mr Konstantinos Georkatzis with whom they discussed TCN integration issues.

A Train of the Trainers event related to the Mingling Experiences took also place, adjacently to the kick off meeting on 18/1/2019. Partners had the opportunity to exchange previous experiecnes relevant to the project’s aims. The main activities of the workshop included:

Folloing to the training, the trained partner staff members will have to go back to their countries and implement local Train the Facilitator events (1 per country, 10 trainees per country, 50 in total in the partner countries).
