During the framework of the European Project “Competency and learning development for Job Brokers in the EU” under the Erasmus+ Programme, Key Action 2: Strategic Partnerships, Mediterranean Management Center has implemented desktop research  and field research with the participation of several organisations.  

For the purpose of the field research, M.M.C contacted unemployed people, employers and employer representatives, Public Employment Service, VET People, VET insitutions as well as placement consultants.

The purpose of the interviews was to find out to what extend Job Brokerage exists in Cyprus and what is the profile of the role.
Many organisations from Cyprus have participated in the research including the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus, the Public Employment Service, the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce, the Cyprus Productivity Center as well as many private organisations.

We would like to thank all organisations for their contribution.

The results from all the interviewees were presented on a final National Report that will soon be available.
